The college application process has changed dramatically in recent years; not only are there literally hundreds of schools that offer phenomenal educational opportunities, but the process of gaining admission has become increasingly competitive across the board.
Many families report that this is one of the more stressful phases they experience with their children. We believe that it doesn't have to be like that, but rather, that the college selection process presents an empowering experience for your student to begin to clearly identify and articulate who s/he is and what s/he needs for the coming college years.
Our goal therefore is to personalize the process by truly getting to know each student as an individual, and to work closely with families as we look beyond the numbers and choose the best fit for you.
We have experience with every aspect of the college application process, and assist families with:
- High school course selection
- Standardized test preparation
- Developing college lists & planning visits (including interviews)
- Recommendation letters
- Early action / decision applications
- Application essays
- Completing and submitting applications
Families are unique, and each one requires a different level of assistance.
We therefore limit the number of students we advise each year to allow us to be flexible and offer each family our undivided attention. Our college counseling services are available on an hourly consultant basis (currently $375 - $475 per hour), or as a package to take students all the way to college - please contact us for additional information.
Our college counselors are all members of the Western Association For College Admissions Counseling (WACAC).
