Georgetown University's Meyers Institute for College Preparation (MICP) promotes student interest and motivation toward the pursuit of a college education and provides intensive academic, psychosocial, and family mentoring support in order to help students accomplish their academic goals. The program also aims to build a larger sense of self-worth among students, who generally come from highly disadvantaged environments where education is not often valued by their peers.

Aim High is an intensive, engaging and challenging five-week summer school program for middle school students from low-income families. Students join after 5th or 6th grad, and participate for three or four consecutive summers, graduating from Aim High in the summer prior to their freshman year in high school. Aim High continues to support our graduates during their high school years by offering a series of college workshops and by linking students to other youth serving organizations and programs.
