The SAT Subject Tests, formerly known as the SAT IIs or Achievement Tests, are designed to assess straight-forward subject matter and generally require limited preparation in contrast to the SAT I.
These tests should ideally correspond to Junior year course selections, particularly in the case of students taking AP courses. Students can take up to three subject tests on a single test date, usually in May/June.
Subject tests are one-hour, multiple-choice tests and are offered in the following subjects, and on the same dates as the SAT I:
